Configuration Odoo – Xero Connector
Xero App Creation
- Xero Developer Login : Go to https://developer.xero.com/app/manage, open My Apps,and create app.
- Select Web App. Set "https://your.odoo.domain.com/xero/callback" as OAuth 2.0 redirect URI
- Create App.
Xero App Credentials
- Go to Xero configuration and copy the Client ID and Client Secret from your app.
- These credentials are required to connect Odoo with Xero.
Odoo - Xero Configuration
- The "Xero Configuration" menu is only visible to users who have the "Allow Access: Xero Configuration" group enabled. Please ensure the user has this access.
- Navigate to: Xero > Xero Configuration
- Enter the Xero Client ID in the Client ID field in Odoo.
- Enter the Xero Client Secret in the Client Secret field in Odoo.
- Click the "Connect to Xero" button, then follow the Xero authentication steps to complete the connection.
Odoo - Xero Connection
- After a successful connection, the Tenant ID and Access Token will be generated and displayed in the form.
- To generate a new access token, use the "Refresh Token" option available in the view.
