EGYPOS Product Category Hierarchy
Visual product category hierarchy for faster catalog navigation and maintenance
EGYPOS Product Category Hierarchy adds a dedicated hierarchy view for product categories, lets users jump to the chart directly from the category form, and makes multi-level catalog structures easier to read and manage.
Why Use This Module
Standard category lists are fine for short catalogs. Once your structure grows across multiple levels, the hierarchy becomes harder to follow. This module gives you an org-chart style category view for products.
Hierarchy View
See parent and child categories clearly instead of relying only on long nested names.
Direct Access
Open the hierarchy from the category form and start from the current category context.
Useful Context
Each hierarchy node shows product counts to help users understand catalog distribution.
What You Get
- New hierarchy view for product.category
- Hierarchy button in the product category form
- Hierarchy mode added to the standard Product Categories action
- Centered opening based on the current category
- Drag-enabled visual structure powered by Odoo web hierarchy
How It Works
- Open Product Categories from the normal Odoo menu
- Switch to the Hierarchy view from the view selector
- Open any category form and use the Hierarchy button
- Review nearby parent and child branches visually
- Reorganize the structure more confidently
