General Ledger — Split Entry / Reference / Label Columns
Stop squinting at one glued cell. Get three real, exportable columns in the standard General Ledger.
Seen live on a real Odoo 19 database
Unretouched capture from a production Odoo 19 instance running this module (demo company names).
What it does
Odoo's standard General Ledger merges the journal entry number (e.g. INV/2026/00355), the entry reference and the line label into a single cell. This module adds three separate columns to that same report and keeps only the entry number in the leading cell.
Entry Number
The move name in its own sortable-free column.
Reference
The move reference, cleanly separated.
Label
The journal item label, ready to read and export.
Why it's safe
It never rewrites the report's own logic. The columns are filled by post-processing the rows Odoo already produced, and every fill is wrapped in try/except — on any error the original report is returned unchanged. Uninstall to fully revert.
Requirements
Odoo 19.0. Requires the Enterprise Accounting app (account_reports).
