Prevent Negative Stock in POS & Inventory with Kit Product Support for Odoo 19.
App Overview
This module prevents negative stock levels in both Point of Sale and Inventory operations, with advanced support for kit products (phantom BoMs) and configurable exceptions. Ensure accurate stock levels at all times.
POS Stock Restriction
Real-time stock checking when adding products. Prevents quantity changes exceeding available stock with user-friendly popup warnings in POS interface. Compatible with Odoo 19 OWL architecture.
Inventory Stock Validation
Blocks stock moves that would result in negative stock. Validates at picking/transfer confirmation and prevents manufacturing orders with insufficient materials.
Kit Product Support (Phantom BoM)
Calculates producible quantity for kit products. Checks component availability at specific locations, considers reserved quantities in calculations, and detects bottleneck components.
Configurable Exceptions
Allow negative stock per product, per product category, or per location. Flexible exception management for different business requirements.
Product Category Settings
Category-level negative stock permission inherited by products in category. Easy bulk configuration for efficient management.
Location-Based Control
Per-location negative stock settings with different rules for different warehouses. Proper transit location handling for complex warehouse setups.
