WHY THIS ONE
Not just an upload button
Protected streaming Videos never expose a permanent URL. Stream links are signed and expire (validity configurable); seeking works via range requests; playback is inline with the download control removed and right-click blocked. |
Deters screen recording A softly visible watermark with the learner's own email moves around the frame - the deterrent professional course platforms use, because leaked copies become traceable. Toggle it in Settings. |
Learners resume, courses complete honestly Playback continues from the last position on any revisit. Lessons are marked complete only after a configurable watched percentage (default 90%) - so certificates mean something. |
Upload from anywhere - even the website Upload on the backend lesson form next to the YouTube URL field, or straight from the course page's Add Content dialog - it gains an "Upload from Device / Use External Link" choice. Lesson duration fills automatically from the file, and both the course page and the fullscreen player play it natively. No new menus to learn. |

Upload straight from the course page - the Add Content dialog gains an Upload from Device option with a file chooser, next to the usual external links.
The protected fullscreen player: seek and playback controls, the viewer's identity drifting as a soft watermark, and the lesson ticked complete once the watch threshold is crossed.
Backend flow: the lesson form gets an Upload your file field beside the Video Link - duration fills automatically from the file.
Your rules in Settings: upload size limit, completion threshold, stream link validity and the watermark toggle.
GOOD TO KNOW
The watermark and download protection strongly deter casual copying and make leaks traceable; no browser technology can fully prevent screen recording. Completion ticks appear on the next page load after the threshold is reached. Very large files (multi-GB) depend on your hosting's request limits - a chunked uploader and a CDN streaming connector are on the roadmap.
