⚙️ Configuration Guide
Phase 1 — Install & Set Up Products
Install the Module
Go to Apps, search Rental Management Suite, click Install. Dependencies (Sales, Inventory, Accounting) install automatically.
Mark Products as Rentable
Open a product, tick Is Rental Product, then set Rental Price (Per Day), Deposit Amount, Late Fee Per Day and Minimum Rental Days.
Phase 2 — Create & Process Rentals
Create a Rental Order
Open the Rental menu → New. Pick the customer, set Start and End dates, and add rentable products as order lines. Duration and deposit compute automatically.
Confirm & Pick Up
Use Confirm then Pick Up to move the rental into an active state when the customer collects the goods.
Process the Return
Click Return to launch the return wizard. Enter returned quantity, damage quantity and damage charge — late days and late fees are computed from the end date automatically.
Invoice & Close
Generate invoices from the order, view them via the smart button, then Close the rental. Track everything live on the Rental Dashboard.
