⚙️ Configuration Guide
Phase 1 — Meta Developer Setup
Create Meta Developer Account
Go to developers.facebook.com, log in with business account, click Get Started.
Create a New App
Click My Apps → Create App. Select Business type, enter name, link your Meta Business account.
Add WhatsApp Product
Scroll to Add Products to Your App, find WhatsApp, click Set Up.
Get Phone Number ID & Access Token
Go to WhatsApp → API Setup. Copy Phone Number ID, Access Token, and Business Account ID.
Add Test Phone Number
In WhatsApp → API Setup, click Manage Phone Number List, add your test mobile number.
Phase 2 — Odoo Module Setup
Install the Module
Go to Odoo Apps, search WhatsApp Business Integration, click Install.
Enter Meta API Credentials
WhatsApp → Configuration → Settings: Enter Phone Number ID, Access Token, Business Account ID, Webhook Verify Token, Public URL. Click Test Connection.
Set Customer Phone Numbers
Ensure customers have WhatsApp-registered mobile numbers in Odoo. Numbers without country code get +91 (India) prefix.
Phase 3 — Webhook Setup (Chatbot)
Make Your Server Public
Use production domain or Cloudflare Tunnel / ngrok. Webhook URL: https://yourdomain.com/whatsapp/webhook
Register Webhook in Meta Dashboard
Meta Developers → App → WhatsApp → Configuration → Webhook → Edit. Enter Callback URL + Verify Token. Click Verify and Save. Then Manage → subscribe to messages.
Test the Chatbot
Send a message to your business number. Reply: 1 Track Order 2 Payment Issue 3 Return/Refund 4 Browse Products. Type menu to return.
