New hires arrive with IDs, contracts, certificates and medical checks — and leavers must hand things back — but tracking who submitted what, and which documents are about to expire, usually lives in a spreadsheet no one updates. Employee Checklist turns that into a living process: a document library that builds each checklist automatically, a delivery rate on every list, and a daily job that warns the responsible person before anything expires.

Onboarding & Offboarding
Two checklist types — hiring and leaving — each building its document lines from the types configured for onboarding, offboarding, or both.
Document Type Library
Define reusable document types once — required flag, expiry flag, default validity and notify-before days — and every checklist is built from them.
Auto-Generate Lines
One click builds the whole checklist from the matching document types — skipping anything already added — and starting a list generates its lines if it's still empty.
Delivery Rate Tracking
Each document is Pending, Delivered or N/A, and the checklist shows live total, required, delivered and pending counts plus a completion rate over the required documents.
Per-Document Expiry
Expiring documents (ID, passport, medical…) carry an expiry date — auto-suggested from delivery date plus validity — with a live status of valid, expiring or expired and days remaining.
Automatic Expiry Alerts
A daily job scans delivered documents and, inside each one's notify-before window, schedules a To-Do for the responsible user and posts a chatter reminder — re-armed if the date changes.
One-Click Delivered
Mark a document delivered in a single click — the delivery date fills in, and if its type has a default validity, the expiry date is suggested for you automatically.
Guarded Completion
A checklist can't be marked complete while any required document is still pending — and it tells you exactly which documents are missing.
Employee View & Roles
Smart buttons on the employee form open their checklists and expiring documents, department and job auto-fill, and two roles — User and Manager — control access.
