Employee Expense Wallet
Control employee advances, prepaid travel funds, and accountable balances directly inside Odoo Expenses. Deduct wallet balances on submit, refund automatically, and keep every transaction traceable in accounting.

Wallet Overview
Balances your team can understand immediately
Each wallet shows the current balance, total loaded amount, total spent amount, refunded value, employee, manager, currency, wallet state, and transaction history.
- Wallet name, employee, manager, currency, journal, and wallet account
- Totals for loaded, spent, and refunded funds
- Negative balance visibility for employee overages
Expense Flow
Deduct the right wallet on submit
Employees select a wallet while creating a company-paid expense. The balance is visible before submission, and the wallet is deducted immediately when the expense is submitted.

- Uses the final tax-included expense total
- Updates the wallet transaction if the submitted expense amount changes
Add funds with accounting entries
Wallet Managers can load funds through a dedicated wizard. The module posts the accounting move and records the wallet load transaction.
Trace every posted expense
When an expense is posted, the wallet transaction stores the generated accounting move so the finance team can review the source.

Ready for controlled access
The module includes Wallet User and Wallet Manager groups. Managers configure wallet journals, wallet accounts, fund loads, and state changes, while users can see their own wallets.
