Maintenance Equipments & Requests Parts Lists
Simple yet powerfull link between Equipment, Maintenance Requests and Products in Odoo
In standard Odoo, there is no direct relationship between:
- Equipment and the products (parts) they contain
- Maintenance Requests and the products actually used during the intervention
This makes real maintenance control difficult for companies that manage machinery, vehicles, technical equipment, or industrial assets.
This module solves that problem by adding real component traceability inside Odoo Maintenance.
What this module adds to Odoo Maintenance
- Define the parts that belong to each Equipment
- Register the products used in each Maintenance Request as a part
- Ensure that only products defined for an Equipment can be used in its requests
- Extend Equipment, Maintenance Request and Product (parts) forms with new smart relations
- New relational models with list and form views
- Access restricted to Maintenance roles
Maintenance Flow Process with Parts Management
New Maintenance Role: Technician
A new Technician role is introduced to properly separate responsibilities:
- Can create, read and edit maintenance data
- Cannot delete records
- Access only to maintenance-related models and features
Perfect for real maintenance teams where technicians and managers have different responsibilities.

Designed for real-world maintenance scenarios
This module is ideal for:
- Factories and industrial plants
- Hospitals and clinics
- Hotels and facilities management
- Transportation and logistics companies
- Technical service companies
- Any business managing equipment with replaceable components
Natural integration with Inventory and Purchase
This module does not perform stock movements from Maintenance.
Instead, it allows Maintenance to accurately define and control which products are components of each Equipment and which are used in each intervention, while Inventory and Purchase handle stock and procurement as designed by Odoo.
This follows Odoo best practices and ensures clean integration with other modules.
Key Benefits
- Real parts traceability per equipment
- Better spare parts planning
- Better maintenance analysis
- Clear separation of roles
- CMMS-like behavior inside Odoo
Turn Odoo Maintenance into a real component-aware maintenance system.
