Document management with Spanish legal retention periods, expiration/destruction alerts, classification and access control.
A document management system tailored to **Spanish legal retention requirements**: every document is classified, gets a retention period derived from its document type (e.g. 6 years for accounting/commercial records under art. 30 C. de Comercio, 4 years for tax records under the LGT), and is tracked from creation through expiry to authorised destruction.

Why Choose This Module
What it does Document register — store documents (file attachment) with a type, classification, responsible user, confidentiality level and a full status workflow (vigente -> por expirar -> expirado -> destruido). Legal retention periods — seeded document types carrying the statutory retention (6 / 4 / 5 / 10 years and permanent), with the legal reference; the destruction-eligible date is computed from the reference date + retention. Expiration & destruction alerts — a scheduled check flags documents whose retention has elapsed and that are eligible for destruction, and warns of those approaching expiry. Classification & folders — organise documents in a folder tree with categories and tags for fast retrieval. Access control — confidentiality levels (público / interno / confidencial / restringido) with user/manager security groups, plus an access log of who opened each document.
