Why Choose This Module
What it does Offline structural validation first: per-member-state VAT format and (where applicable) checksum rules for FR, BE, NL and the other EU states, so obvious typos are caught without any network call. Batch runner: build a validation batch from a partner selection or a saved filter, then submit it. Each partner becomes a check line with status. BYOK VIES transport: the actual VIES query runs through a customer-configured endpoint (their own access). The module ships an offline simulation mode for testing so it never silently depends on a live network. Proof archive: every check stores the VAT, member state, request/consultation timestamp, returned trader name/address (if any) and a consultation number, giving an audit trail of the zero-rating justification. Re-validation scheduler: periodically re-checks partners whose proof is older than a configurable number of days.
