SEPA direct debit (SDD) requires
SEPA direct debit (SDD) requires a signed mandate carrying a Unique Mandate Reference (UMR / RUM), the creditor identifier and the scheme (CORE or B2B).
Before each collection the creditor
Before each collection the creditor must send the debtor a prenotification stating the amount and the due date (by default at least 14 calendar days in advance, unless a shorter term is agreed).
This module manages the mandate
This module manages the mandate lifecycle and produces the prenotifications; it complements -- it does not duplicate -- the SDD pain.008 file engine (the customer keeps using their own file generator and bank, BYOK creditor identifier).

Key features Mandate lifecycle — draft, signed (with signature date and place), active, suspended, expired or revoked, with a sequence-generated UMR/RUM and CORE vs B2B scheme. A mandate expires automatically 36 months after the last collection (SEPA dormancy rule). Sequence type tracking — first / recurrent / final / one-off, advanced automatically as collections are recorded so the pain.008 sequence type is always correct. Prenotification builder — generates a prenotification per upcoming collection with the amount, due date, UMR and creditor id, honouring the configurable advance-notice term (default 14 days). BYOK creditor identifier — store the creditor's own SEPA identifier on the company; the module never moves money or contacts the bank.
