Quotation Lines â Last Price Column
While preparing a quotation, the customer's most recent confirmed unit price appears directly beside the current unit price. Salespeople can instantly compare the new price against what the customer actually paid last time, without opening old orders. A history button appears on every line that has previous confirmed sales.
Line Detail â Full Price Context
Open the order line form to see the complete context of the previous sale: last unit price, net price after discount, discount percentage, quantity, unit of measure, currency, order date and a direct link to the previous sale order line. All fields are read-only and appear only when history exists.
Price History â Confirmed Sales Only
Click the history button to open a read-only popup listing every confirmed sale of this product to this customer company: order reference, date, quantity, unit price, discount and salesperson. Draft quotations, cancelled orders and other customers are automatically excluded.
FAQ
Which sales are included in price history?
Only confirmed sales orders for the same customer company, exact product variant and Odoo company are included. Draft and cancelled quotations are ignored.
Do child contacts share the company price history?
Yes. Contacts belonging to the same commercial company use the same confirmed product price history.
Does the app automatically replace the current quotation price?
No. The previous price is displayed for comparison only. Odoo continues to calculate the current price from the active pricelist.
Are previous discounts and quantities visible?
Yes. The line detail and history popup show the previous unit price, net price, discount, quantity, currency, unit of measure and order date.
