Effortlessly export event question responses to Excel for advanced analysis!

Export Event Questions Result in Excel is an Odoo module that lets you export attendee responses to event registration questions directly into an Excel file. The export provides individual rows per attendee and one column per question, making it simple to view, sort, and analyze the data. You can also choose to only export answers from attendees who actually attended the event. The resulting Excel file is easy to search, filter, and further process as needed.

Overview

Odoo's event modules allow you to manage events and customize registration with multiple types of questions such as selection, text input, name, email, phone, and company name.
However, in standard Odoo, submitted answers can only be viewed in-app, and exporting them provides limited formatting, often in a single cell per attendee. With this module, each attendee's details and answers are presented in one row, with each question as a separate, clearly labeled Excel column.

Access Setup

Assign user event administrator access rights to see export button on event.

How It Works

Open the event form for the event you wish to export. You will find the "Export Answers" button.

Only attended attendees: choose to export only those attendees who actually attended the event.

In the popup wizard, review the default event registration fields. You can remove any fields you do not wish to export.

After exporting, your Excel file is automatically downloaded and named after your event.

Export Output

The first column is the attendee's name.

Other columns correspond to the event registration fields you selected in the export wizard.

Each question answered by the attendee appears as a separate column, making it easy to review all answers. Unanswered questions appear blank.
