ODOO'S FUNCTION

The Master Production Schedule (MPS) is an essential tool for streamlining your manufacturing planning. By analyzing the first layer of your Bill of Materials (BoM) , it cascades your production forecasts to provide a clear estimate of the raw materials required to meet your targets.


CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

CLuedoo enhances the standard Master Production Schedule (MPS) by cascading through every level of your Bill of Materials (BoM), right down to the raw materials. This comprehensive visibility drastically improves your planning capabilities. Once activated, adding a single top-level product to the MPS automatically populates all of its sub-components . Simply update the forecast for your final product, and watch as all underlying material requirements instantly adjust to match.


CONFIGURATION

Have a product with multiple levels of BoM.

USAGE

In the Master Production Schedule , simply select the top-level product.

All the lower-level BoMs and their components will be automatically added.

Notes:

  • if a product has BOM manufacturing/subcontracting > the product itself and all of its components show in MPS
  • if a product has BOM kit > the product itself does not show in MPS, but its components do

Now change the Forecasted Demand of the top-level product, and see them all change accordingly.
