Overview

The VSME Voluntary Sustainability Reporting module implements the complete EFRAG VSME Standard inside Odoo 19. It covers all 20 disclosure groups: Module B (B1–B11 — core sustainability topics) and the optional Module C (C1–C9 — extended disclosures).

Designed specifically for non-listed SMEs, this module guides your team through structured ESG data entry, auto-imports available data from Odoo HR and accounting, and produces ready-to-submit VSME reports in PDF, XBRL (EFRAG taxonomy v1.2.0), and CSV formats.

Omnibus I compliant: Built-in value-chain cap notice (Directive (EU) 2026/470) is displayed automatically when an inbound ESG data request contains out-of-scope fields, protecting SMEs from disproportionate reporting obligations.

Getting Started

  1. Install the module from the Odoo Apps Store or your instance's Apps menu. The module pre-loads DEFRA and IEA emission factors and the EFRAG taxonomy v1.2.0 automatically.
  2. Run the Setup Wizard — navigate to VSME → Configuration → Setup Wizard. Enter your NACE code, select your reporting scope (Module B or Module B+C), and confirm the reporting year. The wizard auto-imports available data from Odoo HR and accounting.
  3. Assign Data Owners — create a Collection Campaign (VSME → Configuration → Campaigns) and assign a data owner and deadline to each disclosure group.
  4. Enter disclosure data — navigate to VSME → Disclosures. Click each group, fill in the data lines, and mark the disclosure complete when done. The period Completeness % updates in real time.
  5. Generate and approve the report — from the reporting period record, use Generate Report to create a snapshot. Submit for review, get CFO approval, then export as PDF, XBRL, or CSV.
