Every new hire in France requires a Déclaration Préalable À l'Embauche (DPAE), to be filed with URSSAF no earlier than 8 days before and at the latest in the moments before the contract starts (Code du travail art. L1221-10, R1221-1 et seq.). The same identity / contract data is re-keyed for every hire.
