France (escompte conditionnel): VAT is, since 2018, computed on the net amount after* the conditional discount only when the discount is granted on the invoice; the standard market practice is to invoice VAT on the full amount and let the customer reduce the VAT base if they take the discount. The module computes both the *gross VAT* and the net-of-discount VAT* so you can apply the chosen convention and print the `escompte pour paiement anticipe` mention. Netherlands (betalingskorting): the BTW base follows the actually-paid amount; the module recomputes the BTW if the discount is taken (correctie van de maatstaf van heffing). Belgium: escompte reduces the BTW/TVA base (the *belastbare grondslag* is the price after the conditional discount) — Art. 28 W.BTW; the module applies the reduced base.
