A missing or wrong mandatory mention on a French invoice exposes the issuer to administrative fines (up to €75 000 for a natural person, €375 000 for a company under art.
L441-9 of the Code de

Why Choose This Module
Issuer identification: company name, address, SIREN / SIRET, legal form and share capital, RCS registration city, APE/NAF code. TVA intracommunautaire number with the FR key validation (FR + 2-digit key + 9-digit SIREN, key = (12 + 3 × (SIREN mod 97)) mod 97). Sequential, chronological invoice numbering (numéro de facture séquentiel). Invoice date and supply/period date. Net amount payable, due date and pénalités de retard wording, the fixed €40 indemnité forfaitaire de recouvrement** (art. L441-10 / D441-5) and the escompte** (early-payment discount) mention. VAT regime mentions: standard, exonération (with the article reference), autoliquidation** (reverse charge), or franchise en base (art. 293 B CGI).
