Fuzzy-match duplicate contacts and products, review queue and safe merge with relink
Dirty master data corrupts reports, splits a customer's history and embarrasses your team. This module finds duplicate contacts and products with a real fuzzy-matching engine, queues candidate pairs for review, and merges them safely — relinking invoices, orders, messages and attachments to the master before the loser is archived. Everything runs locally.
Key Features
Fuzzy Matching Engine
Normalises names, emails, phones, VAT and references and scores pairs with token-set (Jaccard) similarity, Levenshtein ratio and exact-key boosts.
Detection Rules
Per-model rules for contacts and products with field weights, a match threshold and a companies-only filter, run on demand or on a schedule.
Review Queue
Every candidate pair is a record with an overall and per-field score, side-by-side comparison and an analyst decision: merge, not a duplicate or skip.
Safe Merge with Relink
Pick the master and the loser's links — invoices, orders, messages, attachments — are relinked through the ORM before the loser is archived.
Merge Log
A merge log records exactly what moved, the master and merged records and who performed the merge, so every consolidation is traceable.
Contextual Find
A "Find duplicates of this record" button on contacts and products, plus bulk actions for clearing the review queue quickly.
Beyond Partner-Only Dedup
Native dedup is partner-only and weak. This adds a scored fuzzy engine, a review queue and product deduplication with safe relinking.
No Data Loss
Merges relink history rather than deleting it, and every action is logged — so cleaning up never costs you a customer's transaction trail.
