BYOK e-signature orchestration: DocuSign/Dropbox-Sign request tracking, reminders, status board
Odoo's native Sign is an Enterprise feature and the various provider integrations are scattered across add-ons. This module gives Community and Enterprise teams a single status board for every signature request — routed through your own DocuSign, Dropbox Sign or Adobe Acrobat Sign account (Bring Your Own Key). The provider you connect performs the legally binding signing; Odoo tracks, reminds and audits every envelope from draft to completion.
Key Features
BYOK provider connections
Store your own API base URL, account / team ID, integration key and secret per connection. Supports DocuSign, Dropbox Sign, Adobe Acrobat Sign and a manual / email fallback — with sandbox toggle and a credential completeness test, so no keys ever leave your database.
Multi-signer routing
Add multiple signers per request with parallel (any order) or sequential (in order) routing. Sequential mode releases the next signer automatically as each one completes, enforcing a unique signing order.
Live status board
Kanban and list views across Draft, Sent, Partially Signed, Completed, Declined, Voided and Expired — with per-request progress %, signed counts, days-pending and an overdue flag you can filter and search on.
Automatic reminders
A scheduled cron nudges only the pending signers on each open request, respecting a configurable interval and a stop-after maximum. A manual reminder wizard is available for ad-hoc follow-ups.
Expiry & void handling
Set an expiry date per request; the cron auto-expires overdue envelopes and cancels their pending signers. Void, reset-to-draft and mark-completed flows keep the board accurate.
Full audit trail
Every status transition, reminder and signer event is logged as an immutable audit record, alongside Odoo's native chatter tracking on the request itself.
No Enterprise lock-in
