Production Scheduling / F
Finite-capacity work-centre scheduling, load board, reschedule and bottleneck view
Standard Odoo schedules production with infinite capacity, so plans look fine until the shop floor falls behind. This module brings finite-capacity planning to Community manufacturing: it computes the real load on each work centre, sequences work orders within available capacity, and surfaces the bottlenecks holding up your output.
Key Features
Finite-Capacity Scheduler
Forward-schedules planned work orders on each work centre respecting daily available capacity (hours/day × efficiency), filling free slots and pushing overflow to the next day.
Work-Centre Load Profile
Planned vs available minutes per day with computed utilisation percentage, remaining capacity and an over-load flag for every work centre.
Planning Board
One slot per scheduled work order with a Gantt-friendly start/stop, drag-reschedule via a move action and manual resequencing.
Bottleneck Analysis
Ranks work centres by utilisation over a horizon, counts overloaded days and assigns a severity so you see exactly where capacity is tight.
Capacity Exceptions
Model downtime, overtime and holidays per work centre and date so the scheduler plans around real available hours, not a flat assumption.
What-If Wizard
Re-run the scheduler for a date window and review the resulting load and bottlenecks before committing the plan to the shop floor.
Finite, Not Infinite
Replaces infinite scheduling with a real capacity model, so the plan reflects what your work centres can actually produce each day.
No Enterprise MRP
Brings a Community planning board, load profile and bottleneck view that advanced scheduling normally locks behind Enterprise.
