Scrap, Yield & OEE Analyt
Capture scrap reasons, yield % and OEE by work centre
Odoo Manufacturing tells you what you made, but not how effectively you made it. This module adds the three classic production metrics — scrap with reason codes, yield %, and OEE per work centre computed from planned time, downtime, ideal cycle time and good/total counts. Nothing native gives a consolidated OEE view; this fills the gap with transparent, formula-driven analytics.
Key Features
True OEE
Each shift entry computes Availability (run vs. planned time), Performance (ideal cycle × output vs. run time) and Quality (good vs. total), then the composite OEE — the real, multiplied figure.
Yield & scrap rate
First-pass yield and scrap rate are derived from good and total counts per run, so quality losses are visible alongside effectiveness.
Scrap with reason codes
Capture every scrap event with quantity and cost, grouped by reason category — machine, material, operator, setup, quality — so you can Pareto your losses.
Six big losses
Map OEE losses onto the classic six-big-losses framework (breakdown, setup, minor stops, reduced speed, startup and production rejects) as time lost, for maintenance prioritisation.
Per-work-centre rollup
Aggregate confirmed entries into a weighted OEE and yield for any period and work centre, with an OEE grade against world-class benchmarks.
Validated & auditable
Counts and times are constrained (good ≤ total, downtime ≤ planned) and every metric traces back to its inputs, with a pivot analysis for trends.
Real OEE, not a proxy
