Odoo 17 Google Gemini AI Tabular · PDF · Images

Chat with your data using Google Gemini AI in natural language. Paste tabular data from Odoo/Excel/Sheets, or upload PDF documents and images — then ask questions, get totals, spot trends and anomalies, get summaries. No formula writing needed.

💬 Natural language chat

Ask questions in plain French or English. Gemini understands your data context and answers accurately.

📊 Tabular data (CSV / TSV)

Copy-paste from Odoo list views, Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice. Tab-separated and CSV both supported.

📄 PDF documents

Upload PDF files (invoices, reports, contracts) and ask Gemini to summarize, extract data, or answer questions.

🖼️ Images & screenshots

Upload JPG, PNG, WEBP or BMP images. Gemini vision can read charts, tables, handwriting and printed text.

🔄 Multi-turn conversation

Ask follow-up questions. Gemini remembers the entire conversation context and previous answers.

📈 Calculations & analysis

Totals, averages, rankings, comparisons, trend detection, anomaly spotting — all in natural language.

📋 Session history

Every analysis session is saved with the full conversation, token count and estimated cost.

🔑 Shared API key

Reuses the Gemini API key from the Contact Enrichment module if already configured. Free tier: 1,500 req/day.

How it works

1	Open Gemini Data Chat → Analyze my data from the main menu
2	Option A – Tabular data: select cells in Odoo, Excel or Google Sheets, Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V in the text area
3	Option B – File upload: attach one or more PDF or image files in the file table
4	Click "Analyze with Gemini" — both options can be combined
5	Type your question and click "Send" — ask follow-up questions, Gemini keeps the full context

        💡 Example questions:
        "What is the total revenue for Q1?"
        "Summarize this invoice."
        "Which product has the highest margin?"
        "What does this chart show?"
        "Are there any suspicious values in the data?"
    

Installation & configuration

1	Install via Apps → Search `Gemini Data Chat` → Install
2	If Gemini AI – Contact Enrichment is already installed, the API key is automatically reused
3	Otherwise go to Settings → Gemini Data Chat and enter your key (`AIza...`)
4	Choose model and response language, click Save

Google Gemini API key — free at aistudio.google.com (1,500 req/day, no credit card)
