Construction Cost Control & EVM gives cost controllers and project directors a single, audit-proof platform to monitor every cost code from contract award to final account. Track budgets derived from your BoQ, compare them against committed purchase orders and posted invoices, and forecast the final cost using cost-to-complete entries — all with Earned Value indices computed automatically every period.

Budget vs. Actual

Cost codes are auto-created at contract signing — one per BoQ section. Budget derives from the BoQ, actuals from analytic lines on posted invoices, committed from open purchase orders.

Earned Value Management

Full EVM compute chain: PV, EV, AC, CPI, SPI, EAC, VAC, and FFC — computed automatically from IPC certifications and analytic data. Period snapshots locked by Director for audit trail.

Cost-to-Complete Forecasting

Cost controllers enter period-end CTC estimates per cost code. The system retains the full entry history, always using the latest value for Forecast Final Cost and variance reporting.

Director-Locked Baselines

EVM baselines are locked by the Project Director and can only be revised through a formal Baseline Change Request workflow — submitted by cost controllers, approved or rejected by Director with full audit trail.

Variance Alerts

A daily cron generates Odoo activities for cost codes exceeding configurable warning (5%) and critical (10%) variance thresholds. Green, amber, and red status colours surface at a glance.

Analytic Integration

Each cost code is backed by a dedicated analytic account. Costs from purchase orders and vendor bills flow automatically into EVM via Odoo's analytic framework — no manual re-entry required.
