Delivery Workflow & Barcode Weighing

Overview

This module extends the Grevlin Commodity Delivery platform with a barcode-driven workflow designed for mobile weighbridge operations. It integrates directly with the Odoo Barcode app, allowing operators to manage the entire Gross-to-Tare weighing cycle by scanning a unique barcode generated during gate registration.

Key Features

  • Barcode-Driven Weighing: Scan a driver's barcode to instantly open the correct weighing interface (Gross or Tare) based on the current picking state.
  • Cumulative Analytics: Track the total weights (Gross, Tare, Net) across multiple deliveries associated with the same Purchase Order or Sale Order.
  • Weighing Dashboard: A dedicated application with Kanban views for "Reception" and "Delivery" operations, providing clear visibility of the weighing queue.
  • Odoo Barcode Integration: Seamlessly extends the Odoo 19.0 Barcode app with a direct link to the weighing dashboard and custom barcode parsing rules.

Installation

  1. Ensure the grev_od_commodity_delivery and stock_barcode modules are installed.
  2. Install the grev_od_delivery_wkf module.
  3. Update the Barcode Nomenclature if you wish to change the default 'W' prefix for weighing.

Configuration

Usage

  1. Gate Registration: The Reception Officer creates a picking and generates a Weighing Barcode.
  2. Gross Weighing: The driver presents the barcode at the first weighing point. Scanning it opens the Gross Weight capture interface.
  3. Tare Weighing: After offloading, the barcode is scanned again. The system automatically identifies the picking and opens the Tare Weight capture interface.
  4. Completion: Once the weighing cycle is complete, the picking is updated with final weights and cumulative data is recalculated for the entire order.
