Grant Early Payment Discount
Grant cash discounts directly from the Bank Reconciliation widget.
When a customer pays the discounted amount after the early-payment discount period has expired, Odoo normally leaves a residual balance on the invoice. This module adds a Grant Cash Discount button that allows accountants to write off the remaining amount in a single click. The appropriate discount account is selected automatically from the company settings, eliminating manual account selection and additional reconciliation steps.

3. Create an Invoice
Create and validate a customer invoice using a payment term that includes an early-payment discount.
4. Reconcile a Late Discounted Payment
During bank reconciliation, if a customer pays only the discounted amount after the discount period has expired, Odoo leaves a residual balance on the invoice. The module displays a Grant Cash Discount button directly in the reconciliation widget.
5. Grant the Discount
Click Grant Cash Discount to write off the remaining balance as a discount. The invoice is fully reconciled, and the discount entry is posted automatically using the configured discount account.
