Bambora Payment Provider
Integrates your Odoo eCommerce and invoicing system with Bambora (a Worldline company), a global leader in payment processing solutions. This app enables you to securely accept online payments through multiple methods, including credit and debit cards, ensuring a reliable transaction experience for your customers.
With seamless integration into Odoo's checkout and accounting workflows, the module automatically confirms orders, records transactions, and simplifies reconciliation. It supports secure payment processing, a smooth customer checkout experience, and reliable transaction management—providing a trusted payment solution within Odoo.
1. Configure Redirect & Notification URLs
Configure the notification URL by entering your URL, followed by "payment/bambora/return," to receive timely payment and refund notifications from BamBora.
2. Configure Secure Authentication
Generate the API access passcode and hash key by enabling the given settings.
3. Activate Bambora Payment Provider
Activate the Bambora payment provider by clicking the "Activate" button.
4. Configure Credentials & Keys
Enter your Merchant ID, Hash Key, and Payment API passcode. Select the appropriate state and publish it to start accepting payments.
5. Browse Products in Shop
Explore the shop page to view available products and select the desired item for purchase.
6. Add Products to Cart
Add desired products into the cart and proceed to checkout with a single click.
7. Review Cart & Checkout
Review your order summary, including products and totals, and proceed by clicking the "Checkout" button.
8. Address Selection
Choose your delivery and billing addresses to ensure accurate shipping and invoicing.
9. Select Bambora & Pay Now
Select "Bambora" as your payment method and click "Pay Now" to be redirected to the secure Bambora payment portal.
10. Make Secure Payment
Select a payment method, enter the necessary payment details, and submit the payment.
11. Odoo Order Confirmation
You will be redirected back to the Odoo store, displaying a "Thank You" message and your confirmed order details.
12. Invoice Payments in Odoo
Enable customers to pay invoices instantly via the secure Bambora gateway from Odoo.
13. Bambora Transaction Report
Track transactions from Odoo and manage them through the Bambora Merchant Portal.
14. Odoo Backend Transaction
View the payment record in Odoo, which is automatically updated to the "Confirmed" state once the notification is received.
15. Initiate Refund
Manage returns by initiating a partial or full refund directly from the payment record in Odoo.
16. Specify Refund Amount
Use the built-in wizard to enter the precise amount you wish to refund to the customer.
17. Refund Confirmation
Once submitted, Odoo provides instant feedback and logs the refund activity in the chatter for full transparency.
18. Track Linked Transactions
Refund records are automatically linked as child transactions to the original payment, maintaining a clear audit trail.
19. Synchronized Gateway Status
The transaction status is updated in the Bambora portal, ensuring both systems remain perfectly in sync after a refund.
