Vivawallet Payment Provider
Integrates your Odoo eCommerce and invoicing system with Vivawallet, a leading European cloud-based neobank. This app enables you to securely accept payments through the Viva Wallet Smart Checkout, offering a wide range of local and international payment methods to your customers. With seamless integration into Odoo's checkout and accounting workflows, the module automatically confirms orders, records transactions, and simplifies reconciliation. It supports real-time status updates via webhooks, a smooth customer checkout experience, and easy refund management—making it any ideal payment solution for businesses using Odoo.
1. Activate Viva Wallet Provider
Locate and activate the Viva Wallet payment provider from the Payment Providers menu in the Odoo backend configuration to begin the integration process.
2. Configure API Credentials
From the Credentials tab on the Viva Wallet provider form in Odoo, enter your Merchant ID, API Key, Client ID, and Client Secret to authorize Odoo to process payments via your account.
3. Retrieve Merchant Credentials
Access your secure Access Credentials and Smart Checkout Credentials from the Settings > API Access section of the Viva Wallet Merchant Portal to set up the connection in Odoo.
4. Manage Payment Sources
In the Viva Wallet portal under Websites/Apps, configure your Default Code and set the official redirect URL to ensure customers are correctly returned to Odoo after payment.
5. Register Webhook for Status Updates
Set up a new Webhook in the Viva Wallet portal using your Odoo notification URL to enable real-time synchronization of transaction outcomes and automated order confirmation.
6. Review Shopping Cart
Customers can review their selected products, quantities, and totals on the eCommerce Cart page before proceeding to the final checkout and payment stage.
7. Proceed to Payment
From the checkout page, clicking the Pay Now button securely redirects the customer to the external Viva Wallet Smart Checkout hosted page.
8. Smart Checkout Experience
On the Viva Wallet hosted page, customers can securely input their card number, expiration date, and CVV to finalize their purchase.
9. Enable Quick Checkout
Viva Wallet allows customers to securely save their card details in the gateway, enabling a faster checkout experience for future transactions.
10. Secure Transaction Processing
The Viva Wallet gateway displays a processing indicator while validating payment details and authorizing the transaction with the banking network.
11. Order Confirmation Message
After a successful transaction, the customer is redirected back to the Odoo Order Confirmation page, where a success message and order reference are displayed.
12. Track Backend Transactions
View and manage detailed Payment Transactions directly within Odoo's backend, where statuses are automatically updated to 'Confirmed' via webhooks.
13. Process Manual Refunds
Initiate full or partial refunds for successful payments directly from the payment record in Odoo using the built-in Refund button.
14. Refund Status Confirmation
Upon successful refund processing, Odoo provides a notification banner and automatically logs the activity in the document Chatter for audit purposes.
15. Monitor Linked Child Transactions
Access child transactions, such as refund records, linked to the original payment in Odoo to maintain a clear and accurate financial audit trail.
16. Pay Invoices via Portal
Enable customers to pay their outstanding Invoices directly from the Odoo Customer Portal using the integrated Viva Wallet secure gateway.
17. Instant Invoice Reconciliation
Upon successful payment of an invoice, Odoo automatically updates the invoice status to Paid and reconciles the transaction instantly.
18. Viva Wallet Merchant Overview
Monitor all live sales, cancellations, and refunds directly from the Sales Transactions dashboard in your Viva Wallet merchant portal for full visibility.
