CRM Analytic Account
Link analytic accounts to CRM leads and opportunities, and propagate them automatically to sale orders and projects. Create an analytic account from a lead, choose the plan in a wizard, and use it across crm, quotations and projects.
Key Features
Analytic Account on Leads
Attach an analytic account to any lead or opportunity. Use the Create Analytic Account button to open a wizard where you select the analytic plan, set the account name (defaults to the lead name), and optionally link a customer. The account is created and assigned to the lead in one step.
Propagation to Sale Orders
When a quotation is created from an opportunity that has an analytic account, the sale order can use that account as its analytic/project account. A company setting lets you choose whether to always use the opportunity's analytic account or to use the project's account when a project is selected.
Projects & Timesheets
When a project is created from a sale order line (e.g. for service products), the opportunity's analytic account is used for the project when the order is linked to an opportunity. On order confirmation, analytic lines on order lines are reassigned to the order's analytic account for consistent cost and revenue tracking.
Setting: Always use analytic account from CRM opportunity
- Settings → CRM → Hamdek CRM Settings → Always use analytic account from CRM opportunity
- When enabled: Always use the opportunity's analytic account on the sale order (even if a project is selected).
- When disabled: Use the project's analytic account only when a project is selected; otherwise the analytic account field remains empty.
Workflow Highlights
1. Configure the settings
Go to Settings → CRM → Hamdek CRM Settings and enable or disable Always use analytic account from CRM opportunity according to your process (see above).
2. Open CRM and click Create Analytic Account
Open a lead or opportunity in CRM, then click the Create Analytic Account button in the form header. This opens the wizard where you will set up the analytic account in the next step.
3. In the popup: create the analytic plan
In the wizard popup, select the Analytic Plan, adjust the account name (defaults to the lead name) and customer if needed, then click Create. The new analytic account is created and assigned to the lead; it appears on the lead form (Lead and Extra tabs).
4. Create a Quotation from the Opportunity
Create a quotation from the opportunity. The sale order's Analytic Account field is filled automatically according to the setting: either the opportunity's analytic account (if enabled) or the project's account when a project is selected (if disabled).
