Key Features
Clickable Reference Links
Convert character reference fields into clickable links. Fields like Origin, Source, or Reference open the related record directly instead of requiring manual search.
Configure from Settings
Dynamically configure which models and fields become clickable from Settings → General → Open Widget Configuration. No code changes required.
Single & Multiple References
Single value opens the record in form view. Comma-separated values open a filtered list view. Shows a warning if the referenced record is not found or was deleted.
How to Configure
- Install the module in your Odoo instance.
- Go to Settings → General and locate the Open Widget Configuration block.
- Click Configure Clickable Fields to open the configuration list.
- Add a line: choose the Model, the Field (char type, e.g. Origin, Source), and the Relational Model where the record will be opened.
- Save. The field will then render as a clickable link on form and list views; clicking it opens the related document(s).
