Dynamic Sales Price Control
A comprehensive module to explicitly allow or restrict specific users and groups from changing unit prices on sale orders. Ensures high accuracy for quoting and eliminates unexpected price manipulations.
Key Features
Quotation Template Options
Strictly restrict prices based on the selected quotation template. Certain authorized users can bypass this restriction if needed using specific group privileges.
Group Based Restrictions
Enforce or remove price editing rights on sales orders holistically based on user groups. If "Allow" is selected, only the allowed groups can edit prices. If "Disallow" is selected, only the disallowed groups are restricted from editing.
Category Based Controls
Filter pricing changes by product categories! Under "Allow", only specific groups can edit the selected categories. Under "Disallow", specific groups are blocked from editing the selected categories (but can freely edit other products).
User Based Allow / Deny
Provide absolute price editing freedom or restrict it completely for selected specific users, allowing you to bypass or enforce restrictions at the individual user level.
How to Configure
- Install the module in your Odoo instance.
- Navigate to Sales → Configuration → Settings.
- Locate the Hamdek Sales Configuration section.
- Enable the Control Sales Price boolean checkbox.
- Choose either Allow or Disallow to set your global baseline mode.
- Select the desired target from Quotation Template, Group Base, Category w.r.t Groups, or Users Base.
- Select the specific entities that the rules apply to (Users, Groups, Categories).

Allow vs. Disallow Mode Setup Overview
In Allow mode, editing prices is strictly prohibited globally. You explicitly define who can bypass this block.
- Group Base: Only users belonging to the Allowed Groups can edit sale order prices. Everyone else gets read-only fields.
- User Base: Only the specifically selected Allowed Users can edit the prices. Everyone else is restricted.
- Category Base: Everyone can edit normal products. However, for the Selected Categories, only users in the Allowed Groups can modify their prices.
In Disallow mode, users can normally edit sale unit prices. You explicitly define who loses this capability.
- Group Base: Users in the Disallowed Groups lose the ability to edit any prices. Other users remain unaffected.
- User Base: Eliminates editing rights for the explicitly listed Disallowed Users while everyone else retains their access.
- Category Base: Target specific products! The Disallowed Groups are blocked from editing prices of the Selected Categories, but can freely edit prices of all other products.
Viewing as a Restricted Personality
When a user blocked by a Disallow rule (or excluded by an Allow rule) opens a sale order, the Unit Price field locks structurally into read-only mode.
Viewing as an Authorized Personality
Authorized users reviewing the same order retain comprehensive capabilities, freely negotiating and adjusting prices.
