Stripe Subscription Migration
Move customers from Stripe Billing into Odoo Subscriptions with a guided migration from the Stripe payment provider. Import tokens, products, subscriptions, invoice history, and payments — with batch background sync and optional push to a remote Odoo instance.
Key Features
Payment Tokens
Import saved Stripe payment methods as Odoo payment tokens and link them to partners for subscription renewals and automatic billing.
Subscriptions
Import Stripe subscriptions with recurring plans, start/end dates, payment tokens, and a dedicated Stripe Subscription Status field on each Odoo subscription.
Status Filters
Sync subscriptions by Stripe status — Active, Trialing, Past Due, Canceled, and more. Select one status or combine several, just like the Stripe dashboard filters.
Invoice History
Import historical Stripe subscription invoices into Odoo accounting and optionally register payments for invoices that were paid in Stripe.
Remote Migration
Push migrated data to another Odoo instance via XML-RPC. Optional field mapping when the remote database uses different or custom field names.
Background Queue
Process large Stripe datasets in configurable batches via a background job queue. Monitor progress and errors in detailed sync logs.
How to Configure
- Install: Install the module and ensure payment_stripe and sale_subscription are available.
- Stripe Credentials: Open Accounting → Configuration → Payment Providers → Stripe and configure your Stripe Secret Key on the Credentials tab.
- Migration Settings: On the Stripe Migration tab, choose sync target (local or remote), subscription status filters, and import options.
- Batch / Queue: Set batch size and enable background sync for large datasets.
- Remote Connection: If pushing to another Odoo instance, configure the remote connection URL, database, and optional field mappings.
- Run Migration: Use Full Migration or sync tokens / subscriptions separately, then monitor sync logs for progress.
