Overview

The HR Attendance Location Tracking module by Corplution helps organizations capture and record employee attendance locations using GPS coordinates. It provides precise latitude and longitude data along with a Google Maps link for both Check-In and Check-Out, ensuring accurate tracking and location transparency.

Configuration

1. Install the required Python library using: pip install geopy.
2. Go to Attendances → Settings.
3. Enable the option Device & Location Tracking.
4. Allow browser permission to access your location (as shown below).

Step-by-Step Usage

Step 1: Go to Setting > Attendances, and active "Attendances from Backend"

Step 2: Click the Red Dot on Top Right Corner to Check-in and Green Dot to Check-out

Step 3: Enable Device and Location Tracking from Attendance settings.

Step 4: The attendance list displays your check-in and check-out records.

Step 5: Attendance detail view with latitude, longitude, and Google Maps links.

Click on Google Map link to redirect

Important Notes

• This module works best in HTTPS environments for accurate location detection.
• Each record stores both coordinates and a clickable Google Maps URL.
