Installation
- Odoo 18.0+ (Community or Enterprise).
- Dependencies: hr, hr_timesheet, hr_skills, resource.
- Optional: industry_fsm (Enterprise) and/or repair for integrations.
- Install from Apps or copy to addons path and Update Apps List (Developer mode).
Tip: If you plan to use Field Service integration, install industry_fsm first, then upgrade this module.

🛡️ Define Shift Rules
(hard blocks vs warnings) under
Shift Scheduling > Configuration > Shift Rules.
📋 Create reusable Shift Templates
under
Shift Scheduling > Configuration > Shift Templates.
👤 Configure Employees
Set employee Hourly Cost, Skills, and per-employee limits in
Employees > Employees.
📍 Work Locations
Create/maintain Work Locations (multiple sites) and assign them to shifts/forecasts.
🔐 Assign Security Roles
(Shift User, Shift Manager, Shift Administrator) from Settings > Users..
📊 Create forecasts
under Shift Scheduling > Planning > Demand Forecast and review variance in Coverage Plan.
🤖 Generate & Publish Shifts
Use Planning > Generate Shifts wizard to auto-create draft shifts, then publish schedules.
🔐 Security Groups
🚀 Quick Start
- Review Shift Rules (rest periods, max hours, overtime).
- Create Shift Templates (Morning / Afternoon / Night / On-call).
- Ask employees to set Availability and maintain Skills.
- Create Demand Forecast and review Coverage Plan.
- Generate shifts → review → publish.
