Huawei Cloud OBS Attachment Storage
Store Odoo attachments in Huawei Cloud OBS (Object Storage Service)
Preview

Overview
This module seamlessly replaces Odoo's default local filestore with Huawei Cloud OBS (Object Storage Service). Once enabled, all attachments product images, documents, reports, email attachments are automatically stored in your OBS bucket instead of consuming local disk space.
Built on the boto3 S3-compatible API. Works with any OBS region globally. Supports Virtual-Hosted and Path-Style addressing, auto-detection, and per-model path / bucket overrides.
Key Features
- Transparent storage replacement enable one toggle, all new attachments go to OBS automatically.
- Built-in connection test verify AK/SK, endpoint, bucket existence, and read/write with a single click.
- Flexible path patterns use
{year},{month},{day},{model},{dbname}to organize files in OBS. - Per-model path & bucket override product images in one bucket, invoices in another, each with its own directory structure.
- Auto addressing style let botocore decide between Virtual-Hosted and Path-Style, or override manually.
- Dedup-aware file deletion shared files are only purged from OBS when the last reference is removed.
- Image thumbnail support resized images and thumbnails stream correctly from OBS.
- Signature V2 mode avoids XAmzContentSHA256Mismatch errors caused by OBS's SHA256 computation differences.
Requirements
