Barcode Timesheets and Attendance
Barcode Timesheets and Attendance provides the functionality to scan in timesheets for Jobs and start and stop the employee attendance.
Firstly scan the employee tag, then scan to clock on for the day, then scan to start your first job. Then at the end of the day you can clock off.
Years of experience in Job Costing Applications
We have been developing job costing systems since the early 1990s. This package will suit all types of clients who have a job costing requirement,
from someone charging out time on a job basis, to a client building a skyscraper. Master Jobs can be setup with multiple sub-jobs under them which can be split up again.
This module is an additional module and works best with our Job Costing Module to connect to the Timesheet App and Attendance App.
Clock In and Out
Rather than having two different screens for the attendance and timesheet entry.
The standard Odoo attendance app is simple and works great to clock employees off and on. But merging this functionality with the timesheet entry means multiple users can use the same machine to preform either the functionality of adding in a timesheet or adding attendance without the use of a mouse.
You would normally leave the computer on the same screen for the whole day with multiple employees entering data just via the scanner.
Job Costing Timesheets
Scanning in timesheets, is like the bundy cards of the past with lots of advantages
Once a Job has been created in our Job Costing Module, you can then print out a Job Card. Each of the Labour Items on the job card would have a unique barcode related to it, so when it is scanned we know exactly which job, estimate and cost item you are working on. You can have multiple employees working on the same cost item at one time. Scanning to start the timesheet here will start the timer in the timesheet app and leave the timesheet running until you scan off or clock off for the day.
Next Job
Scan to start the next job.
A lot of timesheet programs will get you to stop one timesheet, then add a new timesheet. Not here. If you have a timesheet active and you scan a new job cost item, then it will stop the prior timesheet and start you a new timesheet for the new task. If for some reason you scan the same task again, it will just tell you you are already working on that task.
Taking Breaks/Lunch
Not working on a active job, but still at work?
If you are not working on an active job, but you are still at work. Maybe you are taking a break or lunch, or doing Admin work. You can simply select to "Stop the Task" and leave the attendance open. This way we can look later at the total charged time for the day, verses the non-charged/admin time for the day.
Manual Adjustments
Mistakes and Adjustments
Nobody is perfect, so we expect there will be some errors like "I forgot to clock on", "I forgot to start or stop the job". So once the Timesheets have been created, you can still just manually change the timesheets in the Timesheet App, or fix the attendance in the Attendance App.
