POS Multi Unit of Measure

Sell one POS product in multiple units with fixed prices

POS Multi Unit of Measure helps retailers sell the same product in different units such as piece, pack, box, or carton directly from the Point of Sale. Each unit can have its own fixed sale price and optional barcode.

Product-Level POS UoM Setup

Enable POS Multi UoM on a product and configure the units that should be available to cashiers. Every line uses a unit from the same unit of measure category as the product, keeping conversions reliable.

Fixed Price Per Unit

Set a separate POS price for every configured selling unit. Cashiers do not need to manually calculate package or carton prices during checkout.

Fast POS Workflow

When a configured product is selected, POS opens a unit selection popup. The cashier chooses the unit, enters the quantity, and adds the line to the current order.

Barcode Support

Assign barcodes to POS UoM lines so scanning a pack, box, or carton barcode adds the product with the matching unit and price.

Configuration

1. Open a product from Point of Sale products.
2. Enable Allow POS Multi UoM.
3. Add POS Multi UoM lines from the product form.
4. Select the selling unit, fixed price, and optional barcode.
5. Reload the POS session and sell using the configured units.

Example

A drink can be sold as a single bottle, a 6-bottle pack, or a 24-bottle carton. The cashier selects the required unit in POS, while inventory is reduced using the product reference unit.
