Order and line discounts combine instead of overwriting each other — 10% order plus 15% line becomes a clean 23.5%. A configurable maximum-discount cap blocks anything over the limit, even through stacking, protecting your margins.
Discount Reasons & Full Audit Trail
Every discount can carry a reason from your own configurable list. It is saved on the order and visible in the backend, and because the module uses Odoo's native discount field, discounts flow correctly into receipts, invoices, taxes and reporting.

Flexible Discount Configuration
Set everything up from the Point of Sale settings. Enable the Order and Line Discount buttons, define a default discount, cap the maximum a cashier can grant, and choose whether a discount reason is mandatory — all in one place under the Pricing section.
Manage Your Discount Reasons
Maintain your own list of discount reasons — Loyal Customer, Damaged Item, Seasonal Promotion, Manager Approval and more. Cashiers pick from this list every time they grant a discount, giving you clean, controlled justifications for reporting and audit.
Discount Buttons Built Into the POS
Dedicated Order Discount and Line Discount buttons sit right alongside Odoo's native POS actions, so cashiers grant discounts in just a couple of taps without ever leaving the sale screen.
One Popup for Everything
A single, clean popup handles the whole discount — switch between Percentage and Fixed Amount, key in the value on the built-in numpad, pick a reason, and apply. The order total recalculates instantly across every line.
Discounts That Stack
Order-level and line-level discounts combine instead of replacing each other. A 10% order discount and a 15% line discount compound into a clean 23.5% on the same line — all kept in Odoo's native discount field.
Maximum Discount Protection
Set a ceiling and the system enforces it. When the combined discount would exceed the allowed limit, the discount is blocked with a clear message — even when reached through stacking. Protect your margins from over-discounting.
Percentage or Fixed, With a Reason
Cashiers choose the discount type (Percentage or Fixed Amount), enter the value on the built-in numpad, and select a reason from the configured list — everything in one guided popup for fast, consistent discounting.
Remove Discounts in One Click
A single Remove Discount action clears every discount on the order and restores full prices, with an instant confirmation. The button appears only when a discount is actually applied.
Full Audit Trail in the Backend
Every discount flows into the backend order. The chosen Discount Reason is stored on the order and the discount appears in the native Disc.% column, feeding correctly into invoices, taxes, margins and reporting with zero extra setup.
