Click the Alternatives button from the Sales Order line to open the Alternative Products popup. The system displays all configured substitute products along with their pricing and stock information, allowing users to select the most suitable replacement product before proceeding with the order.

Choose the desired product from the Replacing Products dropdown list. The system displays all configured alternative products for the selected item, allowing users to quickly select the most suitable replacement based on availability and business requirements before updating the Sales Order.

After selecting the desired alternative product, click the Replace button to substitute the original product in the Sales Order. The system automatically updates the order line with the selected replacement product while maintaining the sales workflow without interruption.

Once the replacement is completed, the selected alternative product is automatically updated in the Sales Order. The system also records the substitution details in the chatter, including the original product, replacement product, quantity, user, and timestamp. This provides complete traceability and an audit trail of all product substitution activities.
