FSN Analysis Report & Inventory Movement Report
Which products keep flying off the shelf, which ones barely move, and which ones have been sitting in your warehouse without a single sale? FSN Analysis Report answers all three questions from one simple screen. Pick a period, adjust the thresholds if you want to, and get every product classified as Fast-Moving, Slow-Moving or Non-Moving - with quantity moved, quantity on hand and the last movement date next to it. Tick Include All Products and even the items that never sold show up, so dead stock can no longer hide.

Key Features:
-
Fast, Slow and Non-Moving in one click
Every product is classified from real stock movements of the period you choose. No manual counting, no spreadsheets - open the wizard, hit Generate Analysis and the answer is on screen.
-
Thresholds you decide, not us
Fast Moving starts at 100 units and Slow Moving at 10 by default, and you can change both right in the wizard for a single run. What counts as "fast" for spare parts is not what counts as fast for consumables - now the report follows your business, not a fixed rule.
-
Include All Products - see the stock that never sold
A product with zero movement never appears in a movement-based report, which is exactly the stock you most need to find. Tick Include All Products and every storable product is listed too - quantity moved 0, marked Non Moving, with its on-hand quantity and last movement date so you can act on it.
-
Filter the way you actually work
Narrow the analysis by date range, classification type, specific products, product categories, warehouses and company. Leave a filter empty and it simply means "all" - no configuration needed to get started.
-
All the numbers that matter, side by side
Internal reference, product, category, warehouse, company, quantity moved, on-hand quantity, colour-coded classification and last movement date - in one readable list, sorted by movement so your top and bottom performers are immediately visible.
-
List, Pivot and Graph views
Start from the sorted list, then switch to pivot or bar chart at any time to compare classifications, warehouses or categories visually - the same analysis, three ways of reading it.
-
Professional Excel export
One click produces a formatted workbook with your company header, the analysis period, colour-coded classifications and filters ready on every column - shareable with management as it is.
-
A dedicated Non-Moving Products sheet
Whenever non-moving items are found, the export includes a second sheet listing only that dead stock, with on-hand quantity and days since last movement, so clearance, write-off or re-ordering decisions are easy to prioritise.
-
Multi-warehouse and multi-company ready
Each product is analysed per warehouse and per company, so the same item can be fast-moving in one location and dead stock in another - and you will see it.
How It Works
1. Find it where you already look for reports
Go to Inventory > Reporting > FSN Analysis Report. Nothing to configure first - the module is ready as soon as it is installed.
2. Choose your period, thresholds and filters
Set the analysis period and company, decide which classification you want to see (All, Fast, Slow or Non Moving), and fine-tune the Fast and Slow thresholds for this run. Under Filters you can limit the analysis to selected products, product categories or warehouses - leave any of them empty to include everything.
3. Tick "Include All Products" to reveal never-sold stock
By default the report covers products that actually moved in the period. Enable Include All Products and every storable product is added as well - including the ones with no sale and no movement at all. They appear as Non Moving with a quantity moved of zero, together with their on-hand quantity, so slow capital sitting in your warehouse becomes visible instead of silently missing from the report.
4. Read the result at a glance
The analysis opens as a clear list: internal reference, product, category, warehouse, company, quantity moved, on-hand quantity, colour-coded FSN classification and last movement date. Rows are sorted by quantity moved, so your top performers are at the top and your dead stock at the bottom - and you can switch to pivot or graph view at any moment for a visual comparison.
5. Export a report you can send straight to management
Export to Excel produces a formatted workbook headed with your company details and the analysis period, with Fast Moving in green, Slow Moving in amber and Non Moving in red, plus filters on every column. When non-moving items are found, a second Non-Moving Products sheet lists that dead stock on its own, with on-hand quantity and days since the last movement.
