This module helps organizations manage invoice splitting seamlessly and efficiently. Split your draft invoices by full percentage, specific line quantities, or specific line unit prices in seconds.
The tool securely automates the splitting process, generating a secondary draft invoice dynamically while properly adjusting original line amounts, preserving taxes, and retaining analytic account distributions.

Key Features
Split by Percentage
Easily split a complete draft invoice by providing a custom percentage. All line quantities on the invoice are proportionally reduced entirely automatically.
Split by Line Quantity
Take control over specific invoice lines and specify the exact quantity to split. Only the specified amounts are branched out to the new invoice.
Split by Amount
Adjust invoice line unit prices while keeping the quantity intact. The split price amount is directly shifted into a fresh Draft Invoice.
Smart Validations
Maintains full data integrity by actively preventing splitting actions on non-draft records, preventing price/qty overflows, and capturing invalid splits.
How to Split an Invoice
To split an invoice, naturally open any Draft invoice inside your accounting or invoicing dashboard.
Click on the Action Menu (Gear Icon).
A wizard pop-up will appear giving you full flexibility. You can safely choose to split the entire invoice by a straight percentage calculation...
Line by Line Split Adjustments
If a specific manual adjustment is required, simply choose the Invoice Lines option within the wizard interface.
You'll be able to precisely separate each individual product row.
Granular Line Modes:
Choose the logic that fits your workflow.
• You can enter a Split Quantity to only divide item counts.
• You can enter a Split Price to split an invoice flat monetary amount without losing line quantity context.
• The source invoice perfectly accommodates the decrements while providing a clean secondary invoice link!
Quantity Type Restriction
You can restrict quantities to only integer values directly from the
Unit of Measure configuration.
Simply open the desired Unit of Measure and enable the
"Integer Quantity" option. This ensures that only whole numbers are allowed for
that unit.
Once this option is enabled, the system will automatically validate the entered quantity. If a decimal (float) value such as 2.5 is entered during invoice splitting, a warning popup will be displayed.
The popup clearly shows the product name along with an error message, helping users understand that only integer values are allowed. This ensures accurate data entry and prevents incorrect quantity inputs.
