Email Footer Customizer
Customize or replace the footer in all outgoing emails with your own branding
Default Odoo Branding
By default, every outgoing email includes a “Powered by Odoo” footer with a link to odoo.com. This module lets you remove it or replace it with your own branding.
Option 1 — Remove Branding Completely
Enable “Remove Email Branding” in Settings and leave the custom footer empty. The “Powered by Odoo” line disappears entirely from all your emails.
Option 2 — Custom Branding
Set a Custom Email Footer to replace “Odoo” with your own company name. The footer keeps the same “Powered by” format and links to your company website automatically.
Easy Configuration
Configure everything from Settings > General Settings > Email Branding. Three simple options give you full control.
| ✓ | Remove Email Branding — toggle ON to remove the “Powered by Odoo” footer from all emails |
| ✓ | Custom Email Footer — replace “Odoo” with your own name (e.g. “My Company”), linked to your company website |
| ✓ | Custom Footer URL — optionally override the company website URL for the footer link |
Features
| ✓ | All email layouts — covers both standard and light notification layouts |
| ✓ | Multi-company — each company can have its own branding settings |
| ✓ | Unfollow link preserved — the unfollow link remains functional when present |
| ✓ | Company website link — custom footer automatically links to your company website |
| ✓ | Company colors — custom footer uses your company email colors |
| ✓ | No code needed — configure everything from the Settings UI |
| ✓ | Instant effect — changes apply immediately to all new emails |
