How it works
Configuration
Once installed, the system needs some initial configuration.
1.1 User Group Configuration
Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Users, open a user and find Asset Management section to select a user group.
There are 3 user groups:
- Read-Only: This user group will see only his/her assets.
- Officer: Manage all assignment and return operations.
- Administrator: Allowed full access with configure and reporting.
1.2 Asset Location Configuration
Open Asset App and navigate to Configuration > Settings, then make sure Storage Location, Lots and Serial Number are checked. Once both are checked, select a location for Assets.
Asset Location: Asset location determines which location is going to be used to track your assets.

Asset Assignment
Once you configured everything, you're good to go for asset assignment. There are 2 ways to assign assets.
2.1 Directly from Employee Form View
To assign assets directly from employee, open Asset app and navigate to Asset > Employee or open Employee App and navigate to Employees. Open an employee whom you want to assign some assets. Click on the smart button named "Assets". Now you will find his/her previous all assets.
To assign a new asset, click on the "Add New" button on the top-left corner. Once clicked, you'll get a wizard. Now select the product you want to assign him/her. Once you select the product, it will automatically select the available asset for that product. You can also change the asset. Once submitted all values, click on "Okay". It will be booked for that employee.
Now you can simply click on the "Confirm Assignment" to assign the asset for that user. You can also send that asset for maintenance, scrap, or return the asset by clicking the navigated buttons. You can also see the history of that asset by clicking the "History" button.

2.2 Assign Assets from Asset Form View
To assign asset from asset form view, open Assets app and navigate to Asset > Assets. Now you will find all your assets grouped by products. Open an available asset you want to assign to someone. Click on the "Assign" button.
Now you will get a wizard where you can select the employee whom you want to assign the asset. After providing all values, click on "Okay" button. Now the asset is booked for that employee. Again click on "Confirm Assignment" button to assign the asset.
You can also send the asset for maintenance, scrap, or return the asset by clicking navigated buttons. You can also see history by clicking the "History" smart button on the top.
