Does it work on Odoo Community?
Yes — Community gets a dedicated full-screen home screen; Enterprise gets the same experience
inside the native home menu.
Can admins force a layout for everyone?
Yes. Create a preset, choose Enforce, and the layout is applied and locked. Choose
Default instead to seed users while still letting them personalize.
Can I give different layouts to different teams?
Yes — target each preset by user group. No group means "everyone".
What if two presets match the same user?
Only one ever applies. An Enforce preset always beats a Default one; within the same mode,
the lowest sequence wins. No conflicts, no surprises.
What happens if a preset contains an app the user can't access?
It is skipped silently. Access rights always win — a rolled-out layout can never show a user an app they
are not allowed to see, and it can never break their home screen.
Do the folders follow me to another computer?
Yes. The layout is stored on your Odoo user settings on the server — not in the browser — so it follows
you across devices, browsers and cache clears.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Long-press an icon to drag it, or skip dragging entirely and use the folder button on each app
to move it in or out.
Will it change my menus or permissions?
