Job Costing Catalog for Material, Labour and Overhead Selection
The Job Estimates Catalog View is now fully integrated into the Job Estimates form, providing a smarter, more visual, and highly intuitive way to add Materials, Labour Services, and Overhead Items while preparing job estimates. This feature introduces a clean, card-style product and service catalog directly within the Job Estimates screen. It helps users quickly select the right items for an estimate without manually typing names, remembering service details, or searching through item lists.
Users can browse a visual catalog that displays images, descriptions, units, prices, and categories. With a single click, any item can be added to the estimate with accurate quantities and pricing.
This simplifies the costing process, improves accuracy, and dramatically speeds up preparing complete job estimates for projects.
Main Features:
- A Dedicated Catalog Button for Material, Labour and Overhead:
- Each section in the Job Estimates form now has its own Catalog button
- Clicking the button opens a visual catalog that shows:Product or service images,Names,Categories,Brief description,Cost price and Unit of Measure.
- This allows users to instantly identify the correct item without scrolling through long lists or memorizing item details.
- Visual Catalog View for Job Estimates:
- Users can visually browse items card by card, instead of typing:
- No need to remember product codes
- No need to guess labour descriptions
- No need to scroll long lists of overhead items
- The catalog interface reduces confusion and ensures the right items are chosen every time.
- Multi Product Selection for Faster Costing:
- Users can select multiple materials or services at once, and all items will be added instantly to the job estimates.
- Especially useful for projects that need many materials or multiple labour entries.
- Smart Quantity and Price Management:
- When a product or service is added Sales price is automatically applied.
- Quantity can be changed directly
- Advanced Search and Filters:
- The catalog includes powerful search tools Search by product/service name, Search by internal code,Search by category and Search by description.
- Unit of Measure Clearly Displayed:
- UoM (Unit of Measure) Can be adjusted easily after selection.
- This gives users complete clarity when selecting materials or labour items.
