1. Slack Connector Configuration.
2. Slack Dashboard Configuration, along with two-way synchronization of Messages, one-way synchronization of Users, Channels, Activities, and Project Information, with configurable sync intervals and automated scheduled synchronization.
3. User Synchronization â Imports Slack workspace users into Odoo through one-way synchronization (Slack â Odoo). The synchronization creates or updates Odoo user records using Slack user information, including name, email address, profile details, and active status. User synchronization can be configured with customizable sync intervals and is executed automatically through scheduled cron jobs.
4. Channels Synchronization â Imports public and private Slack channels into Odoo through one-way synchronization (Slack â Odoo). The synchronization creates or updates Odoo Discuss channels using Slack channel information, including channel name, type, and membership details. Channel synchronization supports configurable sync intervals and automated scheduled cron jobs.
5. Activity Synchronization â Synchronizes Odoo project activities with Slack through one-way synchronization (Odoo â Slack). When a project or task is assigned to a user, the connector automatically sends a notification to the linked Slack channel with the relevant assignment details. Activity synchronization supports configurable sync intervals and automated scheduled cron jobs to keep Slack channels updated with the latest project assignments and task activities.
6. Project Info Synchronization â Synchronizes project description updates from Odoo to Slack through one-way synchronization (Odoo â Slack). Whenever a project description is created or modified in Odoo, the updated description is automatically posted to the linked Slack channel, ensuring team members have immediate access to the latest project information. The synchronization supports configurable sync intervals and automated scheduled cron jobs.
7. Messages Synchronization â Provides bi-directional synchronization of messages between Odoo and Slack. Messages sent in linked Slack channels are automatically synchronized to the corresponding Odoo Discuss channels, while messages posted in Odoo Discuss are synchronized back to Slack. Additionally, project chatter (log notes and messages), including text, images, documents, and other file attachments, is automatically synchronized to the associated Slack channels, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across both platforms. The synchronization supports configurable sync intervals and automated scheduled cron jobs.
