📊 Model Aggregation
Point to any installed Odoo model, pick a numeric field, choose an aggregation (Sum, Count, Average, Min, Max), and optionally add domain filters and date grouping. Perfect for operational KPIs like total sales, purchase volume, or stock moves.

🧮 KPI Formula
Combine Account Groups and variables into financial formulas (e.g. Current Ratio, Gross Margin, ROE). Restricted to Accounting Managers for safe, governed financial reporting.

Every KPI can be rendered in three distinct visual formats. Switch display type per card directly from the dashboard menu — no need to reopen the KPI form.

14 Chart Types
When Display Type is set to Chart, pick the visualization that best tells your data story. All charts support dashboard theming, data labels, and drill-down where applicable.

📈 Forecasting
Enable forecasting on any KPI grouped by date to project future values based on historical trends. Configure the number of forecast periods and visualize projected data as a dashed overlay on Line, Bar, and Area charts — giving managers a forward-looking view of performance.

📥 External KPIs
Import data from Excel or CSV files and build KPIs on top of external datasets — no need to load everything into Odoo models. Map target columns, date columns, and group-by fields to create charts and stat boxes from spreadsheet data.

🔒 Template Group Access
Control exactly who sees which dashboard template. Assign Odoo user groups (Sales, Purchase, Accounting, Inventory, etc.) to each template so departments only access their authorized KPIs — with role-based configuration menus for managers.

🎛️ Dashboard Layout Control
The OWL dashboard gives users full control over card placement and size. Enter layout edit mode to freely arrange the workspace — then save or discard changes.
- Drag & Drop — move any KPI card to a new position on the grid
- Resize — pull the right edge, bottom edge, or corner to resize freely
- Save / Discard — persist your layout or revert to the last saved state
- Per-user layout — each user can customize their own dashboard view
