Côte d'Ivoire FNE Credit Note
DGI FNE facture d'avoir for Odoo — motif d'avoir, original-invoice referencing and clearance re-certification
Extend the Côte d'Ivoire Direction Générale des Impôts Facture Normalisée Électronique (FNE) connector with complete facture d'avoir (credit note) flows. Under the FNE clearance regime every avoir is itself transmitted to the DGI for certification, carrying the motif d'avoir, a reference to the original certified invoice (its fiscal number and seal) and the correct UBL CreditNote type — and can be re-certified when the platform requires it.
Motif d'avoir reason codes
A curated, validated list of credit-note reasons — return of goods, post-sale rebate, wrong amount, wrong customer NCC, order cancellation and more — aligned with the EN 16931 / UNCL1153 correction-reason families. The motif is mandatory, shown bilingually (French first), and carried into the FNE UBL payload.
Original-invoice referencing
The original certified sale's FNE fiscal number, fiscal seal and trader invoice number are copied from the reversed move onto the avoir, so the DGI binds the credit to the right cleared document. An uncertified original is blocked before submission.
UBL CreditNote & over-credit guard
The avoir is generated as an OASIS UBL 2.1 CreditNote (type
381) with the original-invoice BillingReference, the motif
reason block and the reserved DGI fiscal-seal extension. An over-credit
guard checks the avoir never credits more than the original invoice total
in XOF.
Clearance re-certification
Re-generate and re-submit a rejected or amended avoir to the DGI with a single action. A re-certification counter and audit log are kept, and the e-Invoice document linkage, fiscal number and QR are preserved throughout.
Guided avoir wizard
Issue a FNE avoir straight from a certified customer invoice: pick the motif, optionally certify immediately. The reversing move is built with the standard accounting machinery and wired to the original certified invoice — ready for DGI clearance.
Built on the shared e-Invoice engine
This module builds on the e-Invoice Core Engine and the Côte d'Ivoire FNE connector — no engine or base-connector functionality is duplicated. BYOK DGI credentials only: invoice data is transmitted solely to the DGI FNE endpoint you configure, and your API token never leaves your database.
